Meet The Team
Nicola
"And you can dance, for inspiration!"
Hi, I'm Nicola, the owner of iD Apparels, and that's exactly what happened.
40 years in dance has shown me some moves; but my greatest steps yet were believing in myself and starting my own business. In fact, it was by going up my loft's steps that iD Apparels was created. Built from a single sack of stock stored in my loft. I am beyond proud of how i have transformed that gem of a find into the DIAMOND it is today as iD celebrates being 10 years strong.
A dancer must be passionate, dedicated, and driven : such qualities have shaped the businesswoman I am today whereby my certificates in dance and fitness are now partnered with my diplomas in business and design. I love both running, and the challenge of running my ownbusiness. However, nothing makes me feel stronger than wearing my own iD brand when working out. With work experience in various industries from retail to fitness, I understand the importance of uniform and wearing the correct apparel.
I hope my hard work and determination inspires my girls - iSlya & Darya - to work hard and dream big as they move through life. Cause nobody puts Baby in the corner!
Naeve
I’m a highly creative and visually driven individual with a passion for design, photography, and promotions. With over eight years of retail experience, more than three years in web design, and a growing involvement in the boxing promotions space, I’ve learned how to blend strategy with artistic vision to create engaging experiences.
Having been part of the iD Apparels team for the past 18 months, I’ve developed my skills across multiple areas of the business and recently stepped into the role of Operations & Communications Manager. This role allows me to combine my creative background with the day-to-day coordination of operations, customer communications, and business development, helping to keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes.
Fuelled by five-shot lattes and a love for late-night techno raves, I thrive in high-energy environments—whether I’m behind a camera, designing a new project, managing communications, or helping bring an event to life. My sharp eye for detail has been honed through years of embracing new challenges and pushing creative boundaries.
When I’m not working, you’ll likely find me at the gym, grabbing a coffee, at boxing events, or indulging in a well-earned slice of pizza. After living in Glasgow for over five years, I’ve embraced adventure with the mindset that everything you want is on the other side of fear.
Always ready for the next challenge, I bring energy, vision, creativity, and a solutions-focused approach to everything I do
Emma
I graduated from the Glasgow School of Art in 2017 and have been working in graphic design ever since, specialising in design and print. Before swapping football boots for design software, I played football at a high level — so teamwork, determination and giving 100% are all pretty much second nature to me.
After gaining experience across a variety of industries, I joined iD in April 2026. I love getting stuck into new projects, throwing ideas around and finding creative ways to bring our customers’ visions to life. I’m always up for a challenge and love being part of a team that’s growing, evolving and coming up with new ideas.
When I’m not designing, you’ll probably find me spending time with dogs, drinking an iced coffee (whatever the weather) or wondering when the next football match is.
Darya
Darya is 16 and has recently finished school. This September, she’ll be starting a Musical Theatre course at college, where she’ll be studying for the next three years.
A familiar face around iD, Darya has been helping out in the shop since it first opened and is now officially part of the team. You’ll find her in store throughout the week over the summer, before moving to Saturdays once college begins.
Outside of work, Darya is passionate about performing. She enjoys playing guitar, singing, and taking part in open mic sessions whenever she gets the chance.
We’re delighted to have Darya as part of the team and look forward to supporting her as she begins this exciting new chapter.
We also have Beti's Alterations operating in-house
beti
Beti’s career journey began when she left school at 15 and went straight into machining at the Ladybird Factory in Finnieston.
Over the years, she balanced family life with a varied and successful career, spending much of her adult life working within the NHS. She worked primarily as a Sewing Room Supervisor before moving into Biochemistry, where she spent seven years developing her skills and experience.
In 2018, Beti joined iD Apparels to provide our alteration service, bringing with her a wealth of knowledge, attention to detail, and decades of experience in both sewing and customer service.
Beti is a valued member of the team, and we’re incredibly grateful for the expertise, care, and dedication she brings to iD every day.
